Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas

Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas

Whilst this Halloween might be a bit different to most, we can still have fun and get dressed up for the occasion. If you’re not buying a costume this year or can’t get to the store, our last-minute Halloween costume ideas are perfect for getting you and your family into the Halloween spirit.

Make use of what you’ve got laying around and have fun!

Cowboy/Cowgirl

Build Up Your Collection

This one is on trend at the minute, so just put on a checked shirt or denim shirt and grab a cowboy hat or cowboy boots to complete the look.

This is a great easy one for kids and they’ll look adorable in a cowboy hat.

80s

Get a Mixture of Image

The 80s look is great for a last-minute costume, and even easier if you still have clothes from the 80s or can borrow some from a relative!

All you need is neon clothing, backcombed hair and leg warmers for a super easy 80s look. For a more Halloween appropriate costume, you could go as an 80s zombie with the addition of fake blood, scary makeup and ripped clothing.

2020

Protect Your Walls

Let’s be honest, the year 2020 has been a bit scary. Look back at the year we’ve had in good humor and go as 2020 for a spook-tacularly easy costume. Just get a piece of paper and write 2020 on it – simple! Bonus points if you wear a face mask as well – especially if you’re going outdoors or meeting up with others.

Ancient Mummy

Protect Your Walls

If you’ve really got nothing around the house, then dressing as an ancient mummy is the ideal last-minute Halloween costume idea. It’s perfect for all the family and kids will have so much fun getting ready in this costume.

If you’ve got bandages or an old sheet that you can cut into strips, you can use that to wrap yourself up like a mummy, but all you really need is some toilet paper. Just wind it around your body and face to look like an ancient mummy, leaving some gaps for your eyes and mouth. Scary!

Ghost

Protect Your Walls

The classic Halloween costume and an easy one to do last minute. Just take an old white sheet and cut two holes into it for your eyes. The best way to do this is to place the sheet over your head and mark out with a pencil where the eyes need to go, then take it off to cut the holes. This is an easy one for kids but remember to let a responsible adult use the scissors.

Using an old sheet is a great way to upcycle and get use out of old sheets that would be thrown away. And when you’ve worn it, don’t throw it out, keep it to use again another Halloween – you’ll always have a last-minute costume prepared.

Masks

Protect Your Walls

We’re all wearing face masks and face coverings now, so why not make use of them for a costume? You can design your own face mask with Printerpix and choose from 100s of designs including spooky Halloween themed faces, or you can upload your own scary mouth.

Happy Halloween! Share your Halloween creations with us @printerpixusa on Instagram.
